Platform · Redis

Managed, private Redis.

Sessions, caches, rate limits and job queues need somewhere fast to live. If your repository uses Redis, the agent provisions a private instance, connects it and injects the URL — and keeps an eye on memory and eviction after launch.

Detected from code

ioredis, redis-py, go-redis, Sidekiq, BullMQ, Celery brokers and session stores are recognised automatically.

01

Private by default

No public endpoint. Reachable only from your app servers; local access through the CLI.

02

Persistence when it matters

Cache-only usage runs in memory. Queue and session usage enable persistence so a restart doesn't drop work.

03

Memory and eviction watch

The agent tracks used memory, hit rate and evictions and recommends resizing before the cache stops helping.

04

Queue awareness

When Redis backs a queue, the agent watches consumer lag and worker health together — a stalled worker is an incident.

05

Snapshots

On-demand snapshots via shipsanely redis backup, and automatic ones when persistence is enabled.

Cache, queue or both

The agent reads how Redis is used, not just that it is used. A cache-only setup is tuned for speed and allowed to evict. A queue or session store is given persistence and stricter memory limits. If usage changes in a later commit, the configuration follows.
