Terms of use

Last updated: 1 September 2026

These terms govern your use of shipsanely.com and the ShipSanely platform. By using the service you agree to them. This is a template for an early-access product and should be reviewed by legal counsel before publication.

1. Early access

ShipSanely is provided as an early-access service. Features, supported project types and pricing may change, and the service may be unavailable or behave unexpectedly. We recommend keeping independent backups of your code and data.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Your content and repositories

You retain all rights to your source code and data. You grant us a limited licence to access, build, deploy, monitor and repair your applications solely to provide the service. You confirm you have the rights necessary to connect any repository.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not deploy content or software that is unlawful, malicious or infringes others' rights.
  • Do not attempt to access other customers' infrastructure or data.
  • Do not use the service to send spam, mine cryptocurrency or run workloads that degrade the platform for others.

5. Autonomous actions

The platform performs automated actions on your behalf, including provisioning infrastructure, deploying releases, restarting services, rolling back and redeploying. You authorize these actions and acknowledge they may incur usage charges. Actions are logged and visible to you.

6. Fees

Fees consist of AI agent usage and infrastructure usage, billed monthly as described on the pricing page and confirmed at onboarding. Example figures on the website are illustrative. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime during early access. Support is provided by email on a reasonable-efforts basis.

8. Intellectual property

The platform, its software and branding are owned by ShipSanely. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or resell the service without permission.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShipSanely is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination we will delete your repository data and infrastructure after a reasonable wind-down period.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
