This policy explains what information ShipSanely ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and platform, how we use it, and the choices you have. This is a template for an early-access product and should be reviewed by legal counsel before publication.

Account information

Name, email address and organization details you provide when requesting early access or creating an account.

Repository and application data

To deploy your application we read the source code of repositories you connect, along with build outputs, configuration, environment variables you supply, logs and metrics generated by your running application. We access only repositories you explicitly authorize.

Usage and technical data

Information about how you use the website and platform, including IP address, browser type, pages visited and actions performed, collected via server logs and essential cookies.

Communications

Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.

2. How we use information

• To analyze, build, deploy, monitor and repair the applications you connect to the platform.
• To provision and bill for infrastructure and agent usage.
• To respond to your requests and provide support.
• To secure, maintain and improve the service.
• To send service notices and, with your consent, product updates.

3. Repository contents

Your source code is used solely to operate the service for you. We do not sell it, share it with third parties for their own purposes, or use it to train machine-learning models without your explicit consent.

4. Sharing

We share information with infrastructure and service providers who process it on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations, when required by law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition (with notice to you). We do not sell personal information.

5. Data retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Deployment artifacts, logs and metrics are retained for a limited operational period and then deleted. Connected repository data is removed when you disconnect the repository or delete your account.

6. Security

Databases and caches are private by default and not exposed to the public internet. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; please report concerns to hello@shipsanely.com.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.

8. Cookies

The website uses only cookies that are necessary for it to function. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Children

The service is intended for professional use and is not directed at individuals under 18.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
